Meet Your Aesthetic Nurse Specialist
Cynthia Tagliaferri, RN, BSN
Cynthia Tagliaferri, RN, BSN graduated with honors from Florida Atlantic University in 1997. Her medical nursing practice background is procedure-intensive, specializing in critical care areas including ICU, ER, and Surgical Recovery.
Her accurate and delicate hands-on procedure skills led her to first assist positions in Endoscopy and Interventional Radiology departments, practicing at McGill Universities Montreal General Hospital, Montreal, Quebec, Canada, and Lenox Hill Hospital, NY, NY. She is a Nurse Educator, lecturing and training licensed registered nurses across the country in evidence-based practices and critical care nursing skills, utilizing state-of-the-art simulation centers.
With the advent of new and minimally-invasive procedures for cosmetic medical applications, Cynthia incorporated these modalities into her nursing practice, placing emphasis on education, prevention, and well-being.
She now specializes in medical nursing aesthetics, providing services including but not limited to dermal fillers, sclerotherapy, PRP-Platelet Rich Plasma treatments, chemical peels, microdermabrasion, neuromodulators (botox), microneedling, dermaplaning, and cool green laser body sculpting, to name a few. She is actively involved in the consultation, care planning, and hands-on treatment of her clients under the supervision of Dr. Tumminia. She supervises a full team of experienced and licensed professionals in the safe and effective delivery of services.
Cynthia is a member of Sigma Theta Tau National Honor Society of Nursing, International Society of Plastic and Aesthetic Nurses, The Dermatology Nurses Association, and The American Med Spa Association.
In her leisure time Cynthia enjoys travel, adventure, and sports. She is an accomplished playwright, proud Aunt of three praiseworthy nephews, and loving care giver to her rescue cat Lily Belle.

Louis G. Tumminia, D.O.
Dr. Tumminia began his medical studies at State University of New York, SUNY Stoneybrook, New York, then relocated to South Florida to join his family, completing his undergraduate education at Florida Atlantic University, Boca Raton, his residency at University of Florida/Shand’s Jacksonville, and graduating from Nova Southeastern University College of Osteopathic Medicine.
Dr. Tumminia has been practicing since 1999 in Delray Beach, Florida and is affiliated with Delray Medical Center only. From 2014-2016, Dr. Tumminia served as the Chief of Medicine at Delray Medical Center, and is currently President Elect of Medical Staff. He has spent the last 5 years as Affiliate Assistant Professor of Clinical Biomedical Science at Florida Atlantic University. He is certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine.
Dr. Tumminia has gained significant expertise in the area of Aesthetics and Age Management, focusing on cutting-edge health and wellness with services including Verju green laser body sculpting and fat reduction, weightloss programs, and Bio Identical Hormone Replacement Therapy, to name a few.
In his down time, Dr. Tumminia enjoys horseback riding and auto racing, but most of all relishes the time spent with his family. He is happily married to his wife, Dr. Kathy Tumminia, a dentist in Boynton Beach, Florida. His oldest daughter is an Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner. His son is currently attending Florida State University with a Pre-Med major and his youngest daughter attends University of Florida Gainesville pre-veterinary program.
He has recently been blessed with three beautiful grandbabies.
